Loved the formal pictures!

Thanks for the compliment, but this is not a question (which is what the Formspring.me is for).  Please use the email address to the right of the page.

This is my first time writing to you. Found you through Robyn’s site.I just want to say how cute your son looked in the pictures!!

Again, not a question.  But thanks.  And the email address to the right is what you need to use if you don’t want to ask a question.

Hi Nance, I’m interested in trying Jergen’s face cream. After you tissue it off and use the hot washcloth do you have a lot of residue on the washcloth? Or can you use it again? Otherwise I’d run out of washcloths too quick. (Details!) Thanks.

There is some residue, but if you tissue it off of your face really good before hand it shouldn’t be a problem.  I put my washcloth on the rack to dry and re-use it so I don’t consider it a big deal.

Why haven’t you updated since last Friday? I miss you; and it’s all about me, I thought!

Sometimes I get in a rut and don’t feel like writing.  And I am way too self-absorbed to let anything be for anyone other than me.  Hee!

Do you ever feel you’ve embarrassed yourself after posting something to your webpage?

Yeah, but life is embarrassing so I pretty much don’t care.  Hell, I can guarantee that every single day one of my co-workers is rolling their eyes and feeling all superior to me over something that I said in which they feel is embarrassing.  I could give two shits because they are not me and it is really none of their concern.  Especially since they are the last people I would care about impressing.  Isn’t that sad?  Yeah, it is.  But I’m okay with that.

Are you and Robyn still friendly with Plain Jane? I remember the website you all had–Smart and Sassy, was it?–and I thought it was hilarious.

Yes, Jane is still around and in case you haven’t heard, she’s lost weight.  Smart & Sassy was a right pain in the ass.  Sure it was fun for a little bit, but I feel that I can safely say for all of us that it quickly became an unwanted chore when people kept writing the same type of questions over and over again.  Blech.  I’m glad it’s over.

How did Rick put the streaks in your hair? Product please!

Rick used some type of over the counter frosting kit and aluminum foil that we cut into squares.  Google foiled highlights to see what I’m talking about.  Except he didn’t do my entire head, he just did it in about inch wide strips.

What is it about Robyn’s mini-blinds that said “white trash” to you? Is it a PA thing, or because there were no drapes? Myself, if I see lawn ornaments or certain flowers/shrubs (Rose of Sharon comes to mind), my lip automatically forms a sneer.

I think it was the combination mini blinds along with NOTHING on the walls behind her.  And the fact that she was wearing a t-shirt.  I have issues.

Sorry if you’ve answered this before, but what camera do you use? I’d LOVE one like it!

Have you been sewing since you were a child? Did Shirley teach you?

Bwahahaha.  Get real.  Shirley didn’t teach me shit about sewing and no, I have not been sewing since I was a child.  I saw a lot of blogs of people who were sewing and thought that I could do it too.  I’m dive into things head first and figure that the worst thing that could happen is that I would fail.
